create your own character vase/pot
The Late Night Pottery Painting Evening is 7 - 10pm on the last Friday of every month, this is a relaxed evening for adults only and you are welcome to bring a bottle or other drinks if you would like.

inspired by Georgie bird's own whimsical pieces.
You will be guided in creating a slab built cylindrical vase to then decorate with glaze, slips and sculpted additions such as hair, clothing, tattoos or jewellery. The pots will then be left with us to fire at the pottery. No experience required, this workshop is for over 18 yrs, refreshments will be provided.

halloween and christmas Wreath decoration workshop
​Make a Clay wreath to hang or use as a table decoration. We provide guidance and all materials for you to have a relaxed time creating one large or smaller decorations. Leave with us to fire in time for Halloween or Christmas.
The workshops are in the relaxed and cosy setting of Bird’s Pottery Studio, with the wood burner, tea/coffee, mulled wine and a mince pie on offer.
There are two dates to choose for each,

A guided Paint Your Own workshop offering skills and techniques to create your own painted images onto a cake plate 16cm diameter.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14+, no experience is necessary.
available to be booked privately.
These workshops are for all ages and abilities, under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. You may have some or no experience of pottery, the workshops are an opportunity to relax and enjoy working with clay to create something that you leave with us to be fired and collected later.
During the workshop you will be given materials and guidance where needed to create your own piece. You will have access to tools, glazes and all resources you need to make your own bespoke piece of pottery.Cost for these workshops £25 for 1.5hrsP&P can be arranged at a small extra cost.

Summer Holidays Potters Wheel Experience
Dates have now gone but we will be running it again!
You will be given a demonstration and step by step through the stages of throwing a pot. You will have a go on the wheel and the chance of making one pot.
